The current scenario of women’s empowerment is very disbalance across the various segments of society. Nowadays, a majority of the female workforce in India is unskilled. Skill is the bridge between job and workforce. Skill development is a key to improving employability and income-earning opportunities for women and for enhancing sustainable rural development and livelihoods. Skill development programs are designed to provide opportunities to women These programs are mainly with the objective of developing skills in traditional vocations such as weaving and embroidery, or in new high-tech occupations like computers, software, and electronics to make them more employable. EACH ONE FEED ONE is the organization whose project ASHAEIN offers life skill training like stitching and computer training to unprivileged women so that they can prepare themselves for future employment on their own. A special thing about this NGO is that they don’t provide temporary solutions like delivering basic stuff which couldn’t work in long run but giving permanent solutions to promote women’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others.
